SOUL PLAYERS IGNORE INJURIES AND GUT OUT CHANCE TO WIN A TITLE

Several Soul players played through injuries including WR Darius Reynolds, who suffered a head injury just before the half and had to be checked out before returning, QB Dan Raudabaugh, who wore a brace on his knee after sustaining what has been reported as an ACL tear in the first half, and center Brennen Carvahlo, who literally had to be helped off the field in the third quarter in what appeared to be a leg injury. All returned and played well. The Soul defeated the Tampa Bay Storm to win ArenaBowl XXX.
Their effort was not missed by their teammates….

The Philadelphia Soul (11-1) defeated the Washington Valor (1-10), with the final score 68-41 in front of 10,149 fans at the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday night. With this win, the Soul continue their 15-game winning streak at home and have clinched home field advantage for the 2017 AFL Postseason. Should the Soul advance to ArenaBowl XXX, the game will be held at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

Dan Raudabaugh and Clint Dolezel have plenty in common. They’re both Texas boys. They both honed their craft playing for small schools in college.
