EAGLES PLAYERS AND FANS HAD EACH OTHER’S BACK ALL YEAR

MANNING SEES POSITIVES IN LOSS TO EAGLES

admin

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. – Besides going down to the wire for the second time this season with the best team in the NFC, the one positive takeaway from the Giants’ 34-29 loss yesterday to the Philadelphia Eagles was the performance of the offense. The Giants posted season-high totals of 504 total yards, 429 passing yards […]

FOLES, SPECIAL TEAMS SHINE IN WIN OVER GIANTS, DEFENSE NOT SO MUCH

Al Thompson

EAST RUTHERFORD: There were plenty of questions on whether current Eagles quarterback Nick Foles could play like the Nick Foles who led the Eagles to the NFC East title in 2013, and a 6-2 record in 2014 before he was injured. Those questions were answered with capital YES Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium when the […]

GIANTS TALK ABOUT WHAT THEY ARE PLAYING FOR WHEN THEY FACE THE EAGLES THIS WEEK

Staff report

The Giants are still fighting, the former despite an ankle injury he aggravated last week, and the latter with the weight of a dismal 2-11 record on their backs. Tomorrow, they can create a season highlight, and enjoy payback for perhaps their toughest defeat of the season, when they host the 11-2 Philadelphia Eagles, who have already clinched the NFC East title and have their eyes on securing the top seed in the conference playoffs.
The Giants would love to derail those plans, even temporarily.

GIANTS APPOINT STEVE SPAGNUOLO AS INTERIM HEAD COACH

Al Thompson

Even the most passionate Giants fans or detractors could not have foreseen the decline in a team that many creditable observers predicted would win the NFC East and challenge for the NFC title. But here we are. Big Blue is 2-10 and trapped deep into the pit of misery. Facing the idea of hosting their […]

McADOO ANNOUNCES GENO SMITH WILL START SUNDAY AS ELI MANNING’S STREAK ENDS

Al Thompson

It remains to be seen how this shakes out in the long run. Eli Manning had been an institution behind center for Big Blue. His 2017 stats were not horrible…14 touchdowns, seven interceptions and a quarterback rating of 84.1. But the Giants are an injury ward and at 2-9, maybe it’s time to go for […]

The Giants season to forget got worse Thanksgiving Day as Big Blue dropped a 20-10 decision to the Washington Redskins (5-6) who are clinging to a chance to sneak into the playoffs. The Giants again could not generate much offense. Eli Manning went 13 of 27 (48.1) for 113 yards, one TD pass and one interception. […]
