Philadelphia Archdiocese Executive Director of Athletics Stephen Haug was asked to give an update on the status of the Catholic League football schedules as of July 31, 2020 in light of the conflicting social media posts, and the recent announcement that the Norristown Area School District has canceled all fall sports.
Haug replied:
"Nothing has been decided at this point in light of the recent PIAA meeting and sport guidelines."
Haug added that if something changes, he will have the PCL Football Chairman send an updated version of the 2020 schedule.
Coaches will no doubt press on preparing to play with the schedules as listed right now.
