EAGLES DEFEAT RAMS, 33-26, TO IMPROVE TO 3-0 RECORD

Philadelphia improved to 3-0 for the third time under Nick Sirianni (also 2022 and 2023).
Sirianni is the first head coach in Eagles history to have three 3-0 starts with the franchise.
Philadelphia is the only NFL team with that many 3-0 starts since the 2021 campaign.
The Eagles have won nine straight games since Week 17 of 2024 (including playoffs). That is tied for the 2nd-longest winning streak in team history, behind last season’s 10-game streak.
Philadelphia has posted a 19-1 (.950) record in its last 20 games (including playoffs), marking the most victories over any 20-game stretch in franchise history. In that span, the Eagles have won 17 games in a row that were started and finished by Jalen Hurts.

Philadelphia has registered 12 consecutive wins at Lincoln Financial Field (including playoffs), representing the club’s longest winning streak in the history of the venue (since 2003).
The Eagles have produced the 2nd-highest home winning percentage (.821, 23-5) in the NFL since 2022, trailing only Buffalo (.889, 24-3).
* Overall, Philadelphia has turned in a 26-10 (.722) record at home under Nick Sirianni, which is tied with Green Bay for the 3rd-best figure in the NFL since 2021, behind Buffalo (.833, 30-6) and Kansas City (.771, 27-8).
The Eagles are an undefeated 4-0 vs. Los Angeles with Nick Sirianni at the helm. That is the most wins without a loss against a single opponent during Sirianni’s tenure as head coach.
Philadelphia has won 10 of its last 11 games in the series vs. the Rams.
According to Elias Sports, the Eagles, who are 636-635-26 as a franchise in the regular season, own an all-time winning record in the regular season for the first time in team history.
EAGLES OVERCOME 19-POINT DEFICIT, CLOSE GAME WITH FG BLOCK FOR TD
Philadelphia scored 26 unanswered points in the second half to overcome a 19-point deficit after trailing 26-7 during the third quarter.
The last time the Eagles came back to win a game after being down by 19+ points was on 12/19/10 at N.Y. Giants (Miracle at the Meadowlands II).
Philadelphia became just the fourth NFL team since 2001 to block 2 FGs and return 1 FG block for a TD in a single game, joining the 2019 Titans (12/1/19 at Indianapolis), 2000 Ravens (1/7/01 at Tennessee in AFC Divisional Playoff), and 2008 Giants (12/7/08 at Philadelphia).
According to Elias Sports, the last time the Eagles blocked multiple FGs in a game happened on 9/21/75 vs. N.Y. Giants (Bill Bergey - 2 FG blocks, 1 PAT block).
Jalen Carter registered a FG block to keep the game 21-26 in the third quarter.
Jordan Davis is the first Eagle to return a blocked FG for a TD since Matt Ware returned Quintin Mikell’s FG block 65 yards for a score on 10/23/05 vs. San Diego.

OFFENSE EXPLODES DURING SECOND-HALF COMEBACK
Jalen Hurts finished the game with 4 total TDs. He completed 21-of-32 (65.6%) attempts for 226 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs and a 117.4 passer rating, while rushing 9 times for 40 yards and 1 TD.
During the second half, Hurts went 17-of-24 (70.8%) for 209 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs and a 137.0 passer rating. It was the first time in Hurts’ career that he registered 200+ passing yards and 3+ passing TDs in the second half/OT of a game. In addition, today also marked Hurts’ first second-half performance with 3+ TD passes since 11/26/23 vs. Buffalo.
A.J. Brown caught 6 passes for 109 yards (18.2 avg.) and 1 TD in the second half.
The last time Brown recorded 100+ receiving yards and 1+ TD in the second half/OT of a game was on 10/1/23 vs. Washington (132 yards, 2 TDs) (fifth such game overall).
DeVonta Smith hauled in the game-winning score on fourth-and-goal from the LAR 4. Smith registered 60 yards and 1 TD on 8 receptions (5 catches on third and fourth down).

MORE FROM THE GAME
Philadelphia jumped out to a 7-0 advantage on its first possession of the game with a 1-yard rushing TD by Jalen Hurts, completing a 9-play, 38-yard drive. The score was set up by an INT by Zack Baun against Rams QB Matthew Stafford on Los Angeles’ fourth play of the game.
Including playoffs, Hurts has produced a rushing TD in six consecutive games, tying Ricky Watters (1995) for the longest streak by an Eagle since the 1970 NFL merger.
Hurts converted a pair of fourth downs during the series, including an 18-yard run on fourth-and-2 to reach the LAR 13 and a fourth-and-1 conversion at the LAR 2.
Baun’s takeaway marked the 3rd INT of his NFL career (last: Super Bowl LIX vs. Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes). The play was Stafford’s first INT vs. the Eagles since 10/14/12.
Philadelphia cut the deficit to 14-26 in the third quarter with a 33-yard TD reception by Dallas Goedert, finishing a 5-play, 79-yard possession. Jalen Hurts has logged 24 games with 1+ passing TD and 1+ rushing TD since 2022, tying Josh Allen for the most in the NFL during that span.
Prior to Goedert’s TD reception, A.J. Brown hauled in 2 passes for 46 yards combined, including a 38-yard reception that positioned the Eagles’ offense at the LAR 33.
Jalen Hurts connected with A.J. Brown for a 9-yard TD in the third quarter to make it a 21-26 score.
The TD capped a 13-play, 87-yard drive that featured 6 consecutive completions by Hurts, including a 16-yard pass to DeVonta Smith on third-and-10 to keep the possession alive. The score marked Brown’s 50th career TD (26th TD with Philadelphia). *
