PHILADELPHIA, PA (April 25, 2024) – Change Our Future, a Philadelphia youth development non-profit, has announced its fourth annual Sneaker Ball fundraiser event hosted by Super Bowl LII Champion Rodney McLeod and Erika McLeod.

The event will take place on Thursday, June 20 from 8:00pm to 12:00am at the Vie by Cescaphe, located at 600 N Broad St, Philadelphia, PA. A VIP pre-reception will be held from 7:00pm to 8:00pm.

The fundraising gala is an upscale, black-tie event where guests are encouraged to wear sneakers and will feature live entertainment, a live and silent auction, gourmet hors d’oeuvres, celebratory cocktails, interactive activations, and luxury sneaker museum.

Guests will also enjoy a Taste of Philadelphia experience featuring the city’s renowned chefs and restaurants. The live and silent auction will include an Eagles tailgate experience, Allen Iverson autographed jersey, Tyrese Maxey autographed 76ers basketball, F1 gift basket, and more.

“We are thrilled to continue this incredible fundraising event for the fourth year," stated Rodney McLeod. “It has been a privilege to support and serve our young people for the past four years. At COF, we are making an investment in our young people, knowing that by investing in them, we will receive the greatest return, shaping the leaders of tomorrow.”

Fundraising for the event will go towards Change Our Future’s programs and initiatives, including the Youth Leadership Summit, Next Man Up, and STEAM Fusion.

Additionally, Change Our Future will honor educators across the country through its Changing Lives Award, recognizing those who have gone above and beyond to make change for their kids, schools, and community. This year’s award recipient will be announced at a later time.

To date, Change Our Future has served hundreds of children in the Philadelphia area through education, health and wellness, and community development initiatives. Last year’s School Supply and Sneaker Drive provided school supplies to over 400 students and over 100 sneakers for the Barbers Who Care Back to School Haircuts Community Event and the Blues Babes Foundation’s Camp Joy.

At this year’s Sneaker Ball, Change Our Future pledges to provide 500 students with the tools they need to succeed this upcoming school year. Donations will be made to The Feltonville School of Art and Science and the Barbers Who Care Back to School Haircuts Community Event.

"Since the very beginning, Change Our Future has remained dedicated to empowering children in Philadelphia and beyond," shared Erika Mcleod, Co-Founder of Change Our Future. "We eagerly await our annual Sneaker Ball, not only to celebrate the positive impact we've had in the community, but also to emphasize the crucial role our community members play and the support required for us to advance our mission of expanding and enhancing our programs."
